Puerta del Sol is a very busy central square in Madrid Spain. Several
main streets intersect at this famous square (Calle Mayor, Calle del Arenal, Calle de
Alcala, Calle de Montera). Puerta del Sol also has an important
metro station (Sol Metro). Due
to its central location, many hotels, pensions, restaurants and stores are
located in the Puerta del Sol district
of Madrid.
